Summer Camp Mallow – St. Mary’s Secondary School

Our Summer Camp Mallow is a Multi Activity Technology Camp, for children aged 7 – 13 years.
All children will learn and improve their basic computer skills including Word, Saving, the Internet and even using the Mouse and Keyboard correctly. We think this is important. Most children can get creative and practice their skills designing their own Badge, T Shirt, Ruler or Pen Holder.
All children will be introduced to Coding and Programming and they will have an opportunity to design and create their own Computer Games.
Children will have fun creating Animations and learning Robotics. Older children will use a Raspberry Pi, design their own Websites and learn some HTML and Python – 2 computer languages. Everybody will get to do lots of activities in Minecraft and Roblox.
Our Tech Camps are fun and educational and are all about developing your Children’s Computational Thinking. We teach children how to stay safe online and the camp provides children with an opportunity to develop their Social, Personal and Teamwork Skills.
Usually we group children of a similar age together and create a specific programme for them. Children can come to our Tech Camps for a number of summers to develop and practice their skills.
Each child will work on a Laptop or Raspberry Pi provided by Techkidz.
Due to Covid-19 we have very limited places in each venue and expect all our Summer Camps to book out much earlier this year. Book now either online or calling office at 086 4400658
For your information: When booking online you can pay in full or pay a deposit of €50 with the balance payable online before the first day of the Summer Camp. All deposits are not refundable. We will refund you any other balance you have paid, provided you cancel by 5.30pm on the Friday before the Camp.
For a family booking, we offer a €25 discount off the 3rd sibling. This will be done automatically online.
Once you have booked and paid, you will automatically and immediately receive a confirmation email from Techkidz. All the information for the camp is here https://old.techkidz.ie/parents-guide/. As a courtesy, we will send you a reminder by email the Wednesday before the Summer Camp.
