Do you want the chance to learn code?
Our Coding Club Mallow is for Primary School children aged 8 years and upwards. At our afterschool clubs you will learn lots about Coding through fun and practical projects. We will teach you to create Animations, Games, Websites and much more. Have lots of fun learning Coding using our Raspberry Pi Computers and VEX Robotics.
The Raspberry Pi is tiny and affordable computer for kids & VEX Robotics have everything you need to build and programme your first robot. Minecraft is also big part of our Coding Clubs and we use it to teach Coding and 3D design. You will learn how to use a 3D printer and how to create really brilliant Animations. We also cover Game development. Scratch, HTML, and Python are among the programming languages you will learn at our Coding Club Mallow as well as learning about lots of other software.
All the equipment and materials are supplied by Techkidz.
Our Coding Clubs are structured and teacher led and all our teachers are fully qualified and very experienced.
Coding Clubs are limited to 18 children. Our Coding Club Mallow will run for 18 weeks over 2 terms. Total Cost for the two terms is €280.
For your information: To hold your place on the Coding Club you need to pay a deposit of €50 with the balance for the first term payable on the first evening of the Coding Club. There is also an option online to pay in full for the 1st Term or both terms together.
All deposits are not refundable except in the unlikely event that Techkidz should cancel the Coding Club.
Once your have booked and paid, you will automatically and immediately receive a confirmation email from Techkidz. We will contact you by phone and email a week before the Coding Club to confirm the all the details.
For children that have done the Club before there will be a mixture of old and new activities. Children love to do some of the old activities again and repetition is a very important part of learning. As the children get older we introduce extra elements to the activities and we would challenge and expect a higher standard from them if they had done it before.
